“OPEN HEAVEN”

In march of 2010 Julie and I went to Holland for a signs and wonders revival and the holy spirit blew in like the day of Pentecost in the upper room!!

We were there for three weeks and we seen god touch many people in healing, restoration, and personal revival!!

Through this the open heaven movement started!!

In June of 2010 we were invited back to continue to be used as vessels for god to work through. Once again we seen many signs and wonders and many people seek and find personal revival!!

Lieve mensen,

Graag willen we jullie de eerste nieuwsbrief van Open Heaven aanbieden.

In deze brief willen wij in het kort delen wat er onder leiding van de Here Jezus het laatste half jaar gebeurd is. We kunnen gerust stellen dat het ons allen, ondanks vele gebeden, is overkomen. Zijn plannen zijn zo oneindig veel groter! We willen in deze nieuwsbrief terug maar ook kort vooruit blikken.

Hoe het allemaal begon….

Een groot aantal mensen vanuit verschillende kerken in onze regio hebben onafhankelijk van elkaar een groot verlangen om meer te leven vanuit de kracht van de Heilige Geest. Sommigen van hen bidden al meer dan 10 jaar vasthoudend en met regelmaat dat de Here Jezus meer van Zijn kracht en almacht door de werking van de Heilige Geest in onze regio laat zien. Dit diepe verlangen is dus door vele streekgenoten onafhankelijk van elkaar bij de Here God neergelegd.

Op een wonderbaarlijke manier is een van deze personen, onder leiding van de Heilige Geest, in contact gekomen met een pastor, Rick Walth, in Amerika.

Tijdens een zakenreis naar Amerika, december 2009, vond een ontmoeting plaats. Tijdens deze 3 uur durende ontmoeting werden er getuigenissen gedeeld, waarin alle verslavingen waarin de vijand ons gevangen houd zoals geld, macht, controle, drugs, alcohol, seks tot en met de gevangenis aan toe aan de orde kwamen.

Er was een grote overeenkomst in de beide getuigenissen: de ellende die we over onszelf hebben afgeroepen is nooit te groot, onze Here Jezus staat altijd voor ons klaar. Het maakt Hem niet uit hoe groot onze fouten ook zijn! Wij zijn

waardevol voor Hem, Hij heeft ons gekocht en betaald met Zijn bloed aan het kruis op Golgotha! Hij wil ons vergeven om niet, puur uit genade. Jezus had deze beide mensen opgericht, geen fout was te groot Hij waste alle gemaakte fouten weg.

In het afsluitende gebed, aan het eind van de ontmoeting, mocht Rick als vat voor het werk van de Heer dienen. De Heilige Geest aan Rick zien dat de Here Jezus de rug van de streekgenoot wilde herstellen. Rick luisterde naar de Heer. Zonder ook maar van iets te weten, stond hij op van zijn stoel, hij legde de handen op de door de Heer gemarkeerde plaatsen op de rug en ongelofelijk maar waar het wonder gebeurde en tot op de dag van vandaag is zijn rug zo goed als nieuw! Alle eer aan onze grote Genezer, Jezus!

Kort nadat deze bijzondere ontmoeting plaats had gevonden kreeg pastor Rick een visioen., De Heilige Geest maakte hem daarin duidelijk dat hij samen met zijn vrouw Julie naar Nederland moest komen om zijn getuigenis te vertellen. De Heilige Geest liet Rick zelfs zien in welke gebouwen hij zou spreken. Daarnaast liet de Heilige Geest gezichten zien van 20 mensen die hij zou gaan ontmoeten. De nood van deze 20 was voor de mensen om hen heen vaak onbekend, maar bij onze Heer duidelijk. Achteraf bleek deze nood hoger te zijn dan mensen ooit konden beseffen. De Heilige Geest openbaarde aan Rick God’s plan voor herstel voor deze 20. Rick en Julie begonnen voor herstel van hen te bidden!

Terug in Nederland aangekomen en vol van het gebeurde moest er toen wat gebeuren. Hoe steken we het in voor de eerste keer een dienst organiseren….

Wie zullen er komen? Zouden er überhaupt wel mensen geïnteresseerd zijn? Wat als……. Is het wel de bedoeling..? Oftewel, de twijfel ……….

page 1 dear people, we would like to show you the first newsletter of open Heaven. In this letter we would like to share at a glance what's going on under the guidance of the Lord Jesus the last six months. We can safely say that all of us, despite many prayers, happened. His plans are so infinitely bigger! We want to in this newsletter back but also briefly looks forward. How it all began …. A large number of people from different churches in our region have independently of each other a great desire to do more to life from the power of the Holy Spirit. Some of them pray for over ten years, tenacious and from time to time that the Lord Jesus more of his power and omnipotence by the action of the Holy Spirit in our region. This deep desire is so by many fellow countrymen independent from each other at the Lord God. On a marvellous is one of those persons, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, came in contact with a pastor, Rick Walth, in America. While on a business trip to America, december 2009, a meeting took place. During this 3-hour meeting testimonials were shared, in which all addictions in which the enemy us caught hold such as money, power, control, drugs, alcohol, sex up to and including the prison to it. There was a big deal in the two testimonials: the misery that we about ourselves very is never too big, our Lord Jesus is always ready for us. It makes him no matter how great our mistakes too! We are valuable to him, he has bought and paid for with his blood on the cross at Calvary! He wants to forgive us, purely out of grace. Jesus had set up both of these people, no error was too large He washed away all the mistakes. In the closing prayer, at the end of the meeting, if Rick as a handle for the work of the Lord. The Holy Spirit to Rick see that the Lord Jesus the back of the region enjoyed tried to restore. Rick listened to the Lord. Without so much as to know something, he got up from his seat, he laid hands on by Mr marked on the back and unbelievable but where the miracle happened and to this day, his back as good as new! All glory be to our great healer, Jesus! Shortly after this particular meeting was pastor Rick had found a vision., the Holy Spirit made him clearly that he together with his wife Julie had to come to the Netherlands to his testimony to tell. The Holy Spirit led Rick even to see the buildings he would speak. In addition, a representative of the Holy Spirit faces of 20 people that he was going to meet you. The need of these 20 was for the people around them often unknown, but our Lord clear. This emergency proved to be higher than people could ever be aware of this. The Holy Spirit revealed to Rick God's plan for recovery for these 20. Rick and Julie for the restoration of them started to pray! Back in Holland arrived and full of it happened then what had to happen. How we cross it in for the first time organizing a service …. Who will be there? Would perhaps people are interested? What if … …. It is the intention..? In other words, the doubt … … …. Continued on page 4

Letter from Pastor Rick

We want to say that it was such an honour and a pleasure to get to know each and every one of you during our first two trips to Holland. The way God connected you to us and us to you in the spirit is an absolute miracle. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and joy to call you all friends, brothers, and sisters. We look forward to many more encounters with you to grow and love and serve alongside each of you.

If I could I would like to share with you our vision of "Open Heaven".

Julie and I believe that Open Heaven is NOT a "church" but it is a tool to come alongside all churches and take the people (who want to go) to deeper level then what the "churches" are willing to or have the knowledge to take them. After all, the Bible says we are to go from glory to glory; it says to run the race that has been set before you. This never constitutes sitting and hearing a good message once a week. This is an action; a doing something; a growing to be closer to Him every day! This is what we believe the Open Heaven movement is all about.

There are so many things that go along with growing beyond the "institutional church" that most people don’t even know about because, well we have only learned from the church. The things most of you experienced, seen, or heard about the 2 times we were with you so far is just a small part of what God wants you to experience everyday!!! God wants to bring a real revival to Holland but to do that He needs each of us to experience personal revival. Personal revival involves spiritual, emotional, and physical healings. It involves a new understanding of God. It involves becoming new wine skins to receive the new wine. So you can see that the start of personal revival many of you are experiencing right now is only the very beginning of where God wants us to be. Paul said I will not leave you as orphans and so this is the calling of Open Heaven.

Now I want to add that Open Heaven is not the 3.5 people but rather Open Heaven is everyone who has a desire to go deeper with God and to be part of something bigger in His Kingdom. The 3.5 are actually 4 people who said as Isaiah said in chapter 6, "here I am Lord send me". These 4 people are willing to organize, orchestrate, and arrange times and places for meetings. They are willing to lead, pray, and do follow up for all who want personal revival. They are willing to reach out and learn and grow in their own lives every day because they know they cannot give what they do not have. So we, as the body of Christ who have a hunger and a desire to see this revival come, need to help them. We need to cover them in prayer. We need to give them grace as Christ gives us grace everyday while they are learning how to work together and how to get things set up. We need to financially support this movement because it is not the responsibility of the 3.5 to cover all the costs involved to bring this revival.

Actually it is the opposite because the Bible clearly states that a workman for the Kingdom is worth his wage. They are investing much time and energy into this movement and they should be compensated for their work. We need to believe that God is leading them and support them in unconditional love even if things don’t look like the way we think they should look.

We believe we have seen God's heart for Holland and we believe that He is ready to pour His Spirit out on that land. We are honoured to be a small part of this outpouring.

Julie and I love you all very much. We pray for you each day and we look forward to the time when we will be reunited again for God's glory!!

Hallo all in Holland from America

We willen jullie laten weten dat het een eer en een vreugde is om jullie allemaal te leren kennen gedurende de eerste 2 reizen naar Nederland. De manier waarop God jullie met ons en ons met jullie in verbinding heeft gebracht door Zijn Geest is een absoluut wonder. We zijn overstelpt met dankbaarheid en vreugde om jullie allemaal vrienden, broers en zussen te noemen. We kijken uit naar veel meer ontmoetingen met jullie om te mogen groeien in liefde voor jullie en samen met een ieder te mogen dienen.

Ik zou graag ons visioen over “Open Heaven” met jullie willen delen. Julie en ik geloven dat Open Heaven GEEN kerk moet worden, maar een werktuig naast alle kerken om de mensen die dat willen naar een hoger niveau te brengen dan de kerken kunnen of willen. De bijbel zegt tenslotte dat we van heerlijkheid naar heerlijkheid mogen gaan; een weg te gaan die voor ons is uitgestippeld. Dit betekent niet dat we elke week naar de kerk moeten gaan om een goede boodschap te horen. Maar dit is een actie, iets doen, elke dag naar Hem toe groeien! We geloven dat het daarom moet gaan binnen Open Heaven.

Er zijn zoveel dingen die we nog niet weten, maar die van belang zijn om verder te gaan dan de kerk, omdat we alleen van diezelfde kerk geleerd hebben. De meeste dingen waar jullie die 2 keren dat we bij jullie waren tot nu toe ervaren, gezien of gehoord hebben is slechts een klein deel van wat God ons elke dag wil laten ervaren! God wil een echte opwekking in Nederland, maar daarvoor is het nodig dat we eerst een persoonlijke opwekking meemaken. Persoonlijke opwekking houdt geestelijke, emotionele en lichamelijke genezing in. Het houdt in dat we God op een nieuwe manier gaan leren kennen. Het houdt in dat we nieuwe wijnzakken worden om nieuwe wijn te ontvangen. Dus hebben we nu slechts een kleine start gemaakt met de persoonlijke vernieuwing die God voor ons in petto

heeft. Paulus zegt dat we niet als wezen worden achtergelaten en daarom is er Open Heaven.

Nu wil ik er wel aan toevoegen dat Open Heaven niet de 3,5 mensen zijn, maar betreft iedereen die dieper met God wil gaan en om deel te worden van iets groters in Zijn Koninkrijk. De 3,5 mensen zijn eigen 4 mensen, die net als Jesaja in hoofdstuk 6 zeggen: “hier ben ik Heer, zend mij”.

Deze 4 mensen zijn bereid om bijeenkomsten te gaan organiseren en voor te bereiden. Zij zijn bereid om te leiden en te bidden en hen te begeleiden die een persoonlijke opwekking willen ervaren. Zij zijn bereid om in hun eigen leven elke dag te groeien en te leren, omdat ze weten dat ze niet kunnen geven wat ze niet hebben.

Wij moeten hen met gebed omringen. We moeten hen elke dag omringen, zoals Christus ons elke dag omringt, terwijl ze leren hoe ze moeten samenwerken en hoe ze zaken moeten gaan opzetten. We moeten deze beweging financieel ondersteunen, want het is niet de verantwoording van de 3,5 om alle kosten te gaan dragen die met deze opwekking gepaard gaan. We moeten geloven dat God hen zal leiden en we zullen hen zonder voorwaarden moeten liefhebben, ook al lijken de dingen niet te gaan zoals wij denken dat het zou moeten.

Wij geloven dat we Gods hart voor Nederland gezien hebben en we geloven dat Hij er klaar voor is om Zijn Geest over Nederland uit te storten. We zijn vereerd dat we een klein aandeel hierin mogen hebben.

Julie en ik houden heel veel van jullie. We bidden elke dag voor jullie en we zien uit naar de dag dat we elkaar weer mogen ontmoeten voor Gods heerlijkheid!

Page 3 Hello all in Holland from America we want you to know that it is a great honour and joy is to all of you to get to know during the first 2 trips to the Netherlands. The way God you with us and you in connection with us by his spirit is an absolute marvel. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and joy to all of you friends, brothers and sisters. We look forward to many more meetings with you to be able to grow in love for you and together with each one to serve. I would like to Open our vision of "Heaven" like to share with you. Julie and I believe that Open Heaven no church, but a tool in addition to all the churches to the people who wish to do so to a higher level than the churches can or want. Finally, the Bible says that we should go to glory glory; a way to go in front of us. This does not mean that we go to church every week have to go to a good message to hear it. But this is an action, do something, every day to him grow! We believe that, for this reason, it must be in Heaven. There are so many things that we still do not know, but which are important to go beyond the Church, because we only learned of that same church. Most of the things that you who are 2 times we were with you have experienced so far have seen or heard, is only a small part of what God has given us every day would like to experience! God wants a real production in the Netherlands, but to achieve this, we first need a personal generation. Personal generation is mental, emotional and physical healing. It means that God in a new way. It means that we new wine bags are to receive new wine. So we now have only a small start was made with the private innovation that God has in store for us. Paul says that we are not being left Open and that is why there is Heaven. Now, I would like to add that Open Heaven not the 3.5 people are, but does anyone who wants to go deeper with God and to become part of something bigger in his Kingdom. The 3.5 people his own 4 people, who like Isaiah in Chapter 6 say: "here I am Lord, send me". These 4 people are willing to organize meetings and prepare. They are prepared to lead and to pray, and to guide them that want to experience a personal generation. They are willing to put in their own lives every day to grow and learn, because they know they will not be able to give what they don't have. We need to surround them with prayer. We need to surround them every day, as Christ surrounds us every day, while they learn how they must work together and how they are going to set up business. We need to provide financial support for this movement, because it is not the responsibility of the 3.5 to finance all the cost go that go hand in hand with this generation. We must believe that God will lead them and we will have to love them without any conditions, even if things do not seem to go as we think it should. We believe we are God's heart for the Netherlands have seen and we believe that he is ready to pour out his spirit on the Netherlands to pour out. We are honored that we have a small share in this. Wat is er gebeurd?

De eerste twee bezoeken van pastor Rick en zijn vrouw Julie:

Alles ging heel snel en er was eigenlijk niets georganiseerd. Maar ondanks dat werd het een fantastische tijd. We mochten van dichtbij meemaken dat er mensen door de Heilige Geest aangeraakt werden, mensen genazen van ziektes en kwalen, mensen werden bevrijdt van demonen die hen familie generaties lang vastgehouden hadden. In Jezus naam werd er een geweldig werk gedaan, Jezus komt alle eer toe!

Na een paar maanden werd een tweede bezoek van Rick en Julie aan Nederland georganiseerd. Veel mensen werden geholpen die de eerste keer door het drukke schema niet aan bod waren gekomen. Achteraf was het bijzonder dat de Heilige Geest juist met deze mensen aan het werk was gegaan door middel van een voorbereidend zelfonderzoek, waardoor opnieuw in Jezus naam vele wonderen mochten gebeurden en er wederom een geweldig werk mocht worden gedaan, Jezus komt alle eer toe!

We hebben tijdens deze periodes heel veel geleerd over de werking van de Heilige Geest en over de tegenwerking van de duivel, geestelijke oorlogsvoering. We hebben ervaren dat we hier nog veel over kunnen en moeten leren. We hebben mogen ervaren dat er zo ongelofelijk veel nood om ons heen is, er zijn zoveel door de vijand gevangen mensen. God heeft een plan met ons allemaal, Hij wil Zijn plannen uitvoeren en Hij wil daar mensen voor gebruiken, bereidwillige mensen, mensen die Hem toegewijd zijn. Mensen die bereid zijn, Zijn

Wijsheid te leren. Zijn Wijsheid is anders dan de wijsheid die de wereld ons geleerd heeft. De opdracht om 7 dagen om Jericho te lopen, de opdracht om zoals Noach een Ark te bouwen zijn geen opdrachten die passen in onze huidige wereldse wijsheid. Ze zijn menselijkerwijs gesproken zelfs belachelijk. Maar onze Heer is niet veranderd, Hij is noch altijd dezelfde! Zijn wij bereid ons door Hem te laten leiden, zijn wij bereid om te luisteren naar Zijn Stem? Zijn doel is om zo veel als mogelijk de door hem betaalde mensen op deze wereld te bevrijden. Hij heeft werkers nodig voor op de velden, de oogst is rijp, maar er zijn te weinig werkers! Het gaat God om mensen, om jou, om u en ons!

Door alles wat er gebeurd is groeit ons verlangen om er helemaal voor te gaan.

De Akkerbouwer

Rick vergeleek het werk waar hij door de Heer voor gebruikt wordt met het ploegen van de akker. Rick is hierbij de ploeg die bestuurd word door de akkerbouwer, onze Heer.

Als een akker geploegd wordt is dat erg zichtbaar. Er rijdt een enorme tractor in het veld voorzien van een ploeg. Waar die tractor is geweest zie je dat de aarde er totaal anders uitziet dan waar die tractor nog niet is geweest. Na het ploegen gebeurt er vaak een hele tijd niets. En dan, na een bepaalde tijd van rust, wordt de grond verkruimeld waarna kan worden gezaaid. Dat zaaien moet op de juiste tijd gebeuren, anders komt er niets of weinig naar boven en mislukt de oogst. Ook als er gezaaid is lijkt het in eerste instantie alsof er niets gebeurd. Maar het tegendeel is waar. Het zaad moet ontkiemen er groeit iets nieuws, het oude moet sterven. Heel langzaam, wordt er

iets zichtbaar. Tijdens dit beginnend groeiproces mag de grond niet geroerd worden. Het nieuwe plantje mag gaan groeien, volwassen worden en later als het volgroeid is, mag het vrucht gaan dragen. Timing van werkzaam-heden worden gecontroleerd door de akkerbouwer, periodes van rust en bezinning zijn hierbij essentieel!

Al terugkijkend zien we Gods voetsporen en we zien ook de richting waar die voetsporen heengaan. We willen een ieder dan ook aanmoedigen met ons mee te gaan op die weg. Ook vragen wij aan jullie om in gebed te gaan en te wachten. Vraag God wat Zijn plan is met u/jou persoonlijk. Zoek het in de eerste plaats bij Hem, Hij is uw/jouw Bron.

Wat gaat er gebeuren?

Wij geloven dat er grote dingen op komst zijn en dat er heel veel mensen tot geloof mogen komen. Wij geloven ook dat er nog veel meer mensen genezen en bevrijdt gaan worden. We zullen moeten wachten op Zijn tekenen om te gaan zaaien en de akker verder te bewerken.

Voor nu is het allerbelangrijkste dat God de eer krijgt die Hem toekomt. Het is allemaal Zijn werk. En Hij wil in de eerste plaats dat wij Hem aanbidden. Ook wanneer we Hem niet begrijpen. Want Hij is God, Hij heeft alles in Zijn machtige hand en bij Hem loopt het nooit uit de hand. Kom, nu is het tijd, aanbidt Hem.

During these periods we have learned a lot about the very action of the Holy Spirit and the obstruction of the devil, spiritual warfare. We have experienced that much about can and need to learn. We have experienced that there are so an incredible amount of emergency around us is, there are so many people caught by the enemy. God has a plan with all of us, he wants to be and he wants to implement people for use there, willing people, people who are dedicated to him. People who are willing to learn, its wisdom. His wisdom is different from the wisdom that the world has taught us. The command to 7 days to Jericho, the command to run to as Noah to build an ark are no commands that fit into our current worldly wisdom. They are humanly even ridiculous. But our Lord has not changed, He is not always the same! We are willing to be guided by him, we are willing to listen to his voice? His goal is to get as much as possible the paid people in this world. He has needed for workers on the fields, the harvest is ripe, but there are too few workers! It is a question of God to people, to you, to you and us! By everything that has happened is growing our desire to make all the way to go. The farmer Rick compared the work which the Lord for being used with the teams in the field. Rick is the team who run into Word, a farmer, our Lord. Will be plowed as a field is that it is very visible. There is a huge tractor in the field with a team. Tractor has been where you can see that the Earth totally different from that in which the tractor is not already. After happens often for a long time nothing. And then, after a period of peace and quiet, the soil is crumbled and then can be sown. That sow must happen at the right time, otherwise there is nothing or little to above and may not be able to synchronize the harvest. Even if there is sown in the first instance, it seems as if nothing had happened. But the opposite is true. The seed shall be germinate is growing something new, the old must die. Very slowly, there is something visible. During this process of starting the ground may not be moved. The new plant should be set to grow, mature and later as the maturity, the fruit. Timing of activities are controlled by the farmer, periods of rest and reflection are essential! Also, we would ask you to be in prayer and waiting. Ask God what his plan is with you/you personally. Look for it in the first place with him, he is your/your source. What is going to happen? We believe that great things coming and that there are a great many people to faith. We also believe that there is still a lot more people are going to be cured and frees.
